Unusual floor numbering
Because this hotel had many different buildings, to keep room numbering "consistent", rooms on floors were grouped in hundreds. So in this building the "1100" rooms were on the "11" floor, which was really the 3rd floor, above the Ground and Mezzanine floors. We thought we were in the tower when we saw how many floors there were. We walked all the way to the roof to realized we weren't in the tower. Whoops.
