Ornate mirror and sink in Presidential Suite
The sink even features an apparently gold inlay. Note that the electrical socket did not have a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). National electric code began requiring GFCIs in hotel bathrooms in 1984. This reflects the general lack of maintenance or significant renovations between the 1980s and its closure in 2009.
