Inside the weatherproof telephone enclosure
One other place I still regularly see weatherproof telephone enclosures (by GAI-Tronics no less) is during televised Yankee games. There is a bank of private line automated ring-down (PLAR) telephone circuits in the dugout connecting the dugout to the press box, the bullpen, and more, and each phone gets it own weatherproof enclosure.
