Awkward placement of mirrors in girl's bathroom
Behind that interior window was a stand-up shower accessed through the hallway. The sinks are at different heights. The mirrors are currently attached with anchors that hold the glass against the wall from the front, but apparently at one time, this was not the case, as you can see anchors in the tiling above the left sink. Interestingly, the mirror on the left is resting its weight on the tile, whereas usually the anchor would be attached below the mirror, gripping upwards, using the anchor (and not the tile) to keep the mirror on the wall. Why are the mirrors at such different heights?
Perhaps they went to attach the mirror, but realized that because the left sink was higher, the mirror would go up past the tile and over hang slightly. Rather than have the mirror over hang, they hung it over, narrowly fitting it between the tile and the electrical junction box on the wall.
