Unusual mini F connector wall jack
It was totally unclear to me what kind of device would have been hooked up to this. Honestly I have never even seen a mini F connector prior to this. Apparently the reason it is used is because the RG-59 cable typically used with an F connector has a much higher bend radius than smaller cables. In other words, there probably isn't much room behind this wall jack, so a mini-connector (and corresponding mini cable) were used to fit into an area with limited space.
