Roll out cots in the Presidential Suite
In sharp contrast to the ornate knob on the closet, the nice tile floor, the fake flowers and chandelier in the entry way, two roll out cots sit in the foyer of the Presidential Suite. Guests during the hotel's final years complained that things that should have been behind the scenes were not behind the scenes, with one specific set of complaints surrounding the management of cribs and roll-out cots, left visible in publicly accessible areas. One thing that was quite unusual about the use of roll-out cots was the apparent lack of service elevators in these buildings, meaning that they were moved around by the passenger elevators.
