Three aspect signal on old signal tower
Mounted high up on an old crow's nest in the Pearl River train station overflow lot is this three aspect train signal. Much like an automobile traffic signal, the position of the lamp and the color of the lamp give the conductor (or driver) a stop, caution, or go signal. The blue circle on the right is actually a signal of its own, indicating the second track, a small spur which once served nearby warehouses, is now a dead end in this direction.
