White tailed deer by an open manhole
One very unusual feature on the walk up the hill towards Bluefields is an abandoned sewer system. It is unclear what this sewer was used for since it is speculated that one of the buildings is an outhouse. Some of the manholes are left open with their lids nowhere in sight nearby. Quite the mystery. The deer are even intrigued.

The lids were probably stolen by scrappers.
