Ice rink chiller pipes
Two pipes laid into the ground provide a connection between the ice rink's embedded pipes and the nearby chiller. It is a little unusual that these pipes were exposed to open air considering it would seem to allow a lot of loss of efficiency as ambient heat would work counter to the chiller as the cold brine water traveled through the pipes.
