Crow's nest room (composite)
A wide-angle view of the "third floor" room, which I call the crow's nest, reveals its unusual construction and design. Although it is hard to ascertain from this photo, the ceiling was barely 6 feet tall, if it even was that tall. Windows on all four walls provided panoramic 360-degree views looking out over the mountain ranges in which this house is set. Blue and white paint provides a "cloud" motif. Perhaps this room was used as a children's play area?
