WPA mural in the children's ward
It would be a shame if the remainder of these massive murals were not preserved before these buildings are demolished. Amazingly, most of the murals are completely intact and most are remarkably free of damage and graffiti, which is strange, since I know LTV has been here before as well (or perhaps not in this building?). I would imagine if they had seen this it would have been like Jack Nicholson's "Joker" in the 1989 Tim Burton "Batman" movie where he's spray painting randomly all over the art gallery. On the other hand, maybe they just respected the paint job.
