Old private property sign

The sign reads, "Warning, private property, all trespassing forbidden under penalty of the law, Ramapo Land Co. Inc.". Not only is this sign an excellent example of signage from another era, probably the 1930s or even possibly earlier judging by the font, but this is a great example of poor proofreading. Trespassing by definition is forbidden, literally, an intrusion into another person's property.
