Future site of RPC athletic fields
This empty space would become part of the RPC athletic field complex. The entire project is a massive pork spending project by Thom Kleiner. For reference, load up the map of this location, zoom out a little, and count the number of baseball diamonds and soccer fields that have been built in the area around Orangeburg Road. I counted 16 baseball fields and 4 soccer fields with stadium lighting the last time I checked. Are we really going to have that many simultaneous games? Who's going to pay to keep up all those fields? Thanks, Thom.
