Without a doubt one of the most unusual areas of the old hotel is the underground passageway connecting the main buildings with the breezeway to the outlying guest buildings. Even when the hotel was open, this was an unusual passageway to walk through. It was always very damp, dark, and reeking of chlorine from the pool nearby.
