The decorative vapor proof light fixtures all around the mall prove to be equally ugly, wasteful, and nearly impossible to maintain. One has to wonder what confluence of forces inspired the mall's designers into using this particular type of electrical material and fixtures so lavishly, and even in a decorative fashion (perhaps unit pricing).
