Trapped in a closet
Right after I snapped those shots of the central plant door, I checked the knob. It was locked. Thinking I was still alone, I shot a few more shots in the hallway - the shots seen previously. Right after I shot the sprinkler alarm in the last shot, I heard a door open and close, and heard footsteps and jingling keys. I quickly hit the crash bar on the exit door, swinging it widely open, then turned around a corner and stayed inside the building. The diversion seemed to work - at first. I heard the exit door slam shut, and heard the keys jingle ever closer. Suddenly, I heard the door open in the closet I was hiding. Fortunately I was well hidden behind a large glass sunglass display case. Fortunately this exploration would continue.
