Cut oil tank pipes
Often explorers come across cut pipes and think "scrappers". In this case, that is only partially true. The tank this was connected to was indeed scrapped, but as a result of environmental violations issued by the DEP, who cited significant risk to ground water. The owner decided that continuous frequent testing of the tank would be cost prohibitive. Along that vein, the hotel's interior was found to have a number of space heaters positioned in key areas.
