Fire doors doing their job

These are electromagnetic fire doors, so they closed under their own power when electric service was cut off, and remained generally self-closing, except perhaps being slightly ajar as debris was in the way. Nevertheless, the rest of the building beyond these doors is mostly intact. Red fire alarm cabling ironically can be seen hanging down from the fire damaged ceiling in the old library.
