A patient painting
The best I can come up with here is that this was painted by a patient. The subject is a basketball player wearing an "Eagles" jersey, number 22, with his hand on the shoulder of a small boy. They are standing at the free throw line and the crowd is watching in the background. Overhead incandescent lamps hang above the spectators. The figures in the painting all have unusually large appendages, especially their feet. In the background is a player from another team, interestingly, the only black person in the painting.
