The Frankenphone
If you are a phone phreak, this freakish mutant telephone will stand out. This is a Western Electric 500 series telephone with a G3 handset in beige. The black dial mechanism is clearly not the original. What most likely happened is that the original dial mechanism broke, and someone repaired the set by using a dial pad from another G3, but in black. This is just especially cool to me because today, no one would bother to repair a rotary phone, but at one time, it made sense.
