Cheap door hole patch job

I found it quite amusing that holes in doors and walls were patched over using screwed on wooden panels. This just seemed very ghetto.

I once lived in an apartment where wood-grain contact paper had been used to cover holes in the hollow-core doors. Ultra-ghetto.
