Broken security radio
This radio has seen better days, and now no longer even has an antenna. I wonder if they were even licensed to use commercial radios, considering they seemed to be stealing cable (that's a whole other story).

Seriously? The hotel management was stealing cable? Awesome.

We came across an office with a powered (amplifying) distribution block with 8 to 12 RG-11 cables presumably feeding the rest of the hotel. In that room there were two interesting devices. The first was a 1980s-era video information display system, for an in-hotel television channel offering general information. The other was a descrambling device.
