Unimproved staff hallway

When this hotel changed owners in the mid 2000s, the new owners promised to invest serious money renovating the place. Of course, what guests don't know doesn't hurt them. This narrow hallway connected the kitchen and elevator machine room to a loading dock and utility area. Much friable asbestos was to be had in the area to the right in this picture.
