3rd Floor Landing Bends Around Corner
Extremely unusual architectural choices resulted in the 3rd floor (top floor) landing being virtually non-existent. Instead of opening into a hallway or lobby, there was simply a sharp bend around the right side of the hoistway, leading up a small set of stairs. Hard to see here, but the electrical outlet in the background was ungrounded (2 prong). Considering the level of renovations, it is surprising to see this remained. Also notice the sharp contrast in building quality between the lobby, seen earlier, and this hallway.
