Oxidized metal light switch cover

I liked the way the cover on this light switch is hued blue in one corner and red in the other. Nature has a funny way of oxidizing metal... I also love the wallpaper. So old school! Definitely not the original though, I would guess it's ca. 1930s or early 1940s.
