Asbury Park beachgoers
You'd think this was just any other beach on the Jersey Shore. This was a 4th of July weekend, so for modern Asbury Park, this was "packed". Sad, considering that Asbury Park was once the premier Jersey shore destination.

I doubt it would be this empty these days. It's one really cool destination to go to on the shore. I was there in 2009 for Memorial Day and it was packed (as were the restaurants on the main drag in town). So good to see it coming back to life.
